When it comes to healthcare reimbursement, what you don't know CAN hurt you: whether your product is a diagnostic test, a drug, or medical equipment, the U.S. health system has strict rules for its national coding and an algorithm for Medicare pricing. Often, knowing these rules can be a competitive advantage. This introductory seminar provides an overview of the major hurdles your product will face: how healthcare classification codes are assigned, who gets paid for your type of product and how much, and how insurers make coverage decisions that could bring your product in or leave it out.
