DESCRIPTION
Change in the Northeast energy markets has been unrelenting. That change has been driven in part by federal initiatives from Congress and regulators, but also by the reality of the supply and demand for energy in the Northeast.
For the last seven years, this Boston conference has been organized to provide those in the energy industry with an up-to-date, informed, and broad perspective on the evolution of energy markets in the Northeast from those who are helping to shape that evolution at the federal, regional and state levels.
This year, again, we have an outstanding faculty to lead conference attendees in discussion about what is happening in Washington, the capitals of Northeast states, ISO New England, the New York ISO, and with companies and organizations that are actively participating and shaping the region's energy industry. In past years, that discussion has been enriched by a knowledgeable, engaged, and curious audience with experiences and questions that increase the value of this conference for everyone. We invite you to be part of this year's survey of the Energy in the Northeast.
Mary Beth Gentleman, Foley Hoag partner and co-chair of the firm’s Energy Technology and Renewables Practice Group, will moderate the panels, "Older Generating Capacity in the Northeast: Recent Performance and Future Risks", and "Generating Sources for the Future".
