The Medical Development Group’s Entrepreneurial Special Interest Group (SIG) announces its first-ever “UnConference.”

In difficult times we need innovative methods and solutions to help us solve key problems. MDG and its SIG's' mission is to help the MedTech community as needed. The next MedDev Group Entrepreneurial SIG meeting, scheduled for November 29th at the Foley Hoag Emerging Enterprise Center, will be one solution for the startup community. They are planning an innovative program, an unConference, in support of helping the early stage medical device community, and you in particular to solve your startup problems.

They are planning this unConference to allow you to ask pertinent questions, learn key trend information and timely issues to help you advance your business. For those of you unfamiliar with it, an unConference is a flexible, participant-driven alternative to a traditional meeting format. It favors discussion and interaction by those who wish to be a Session Leader and can propose leading a topic in which they may be a domain expert. Interested participants can then join any session of interest. Please save the date and location and look for upcoming announcements and registration. We have limited space and this will sell out early!

This educational evening will feature a keynote by Foley Hoag attorney and editor of quarterly Venture Perspectives, David Pierson, on current trends in early-stage financing.

Sessions include: Patents, Fundraising, Regulatory, Commercializing in Europe, Performing Clinical Trials in South America, and Managing Your Personal Life.

Numerous domain experts to be in attendance.

A light dinner will be served.

Registration Fee: Members: $25 (prepaid), $35 at the door
Nonmembers: $35 (prepaid); $45 at the door

Cutoff for preregistration is 8 PM the evening before the event.
