Foley Hoag Congratulates Winners of the Ignite Clean Energy Business Presentation Competition

Boston, MA - May 11, 2007

Foley Hoag LLP congratulates the winners of the 2007 Ignite Clean Energy (ICE) Business Presentation Competition held earlier this month. Winners of this year's competition were chosen from a pool of 61 teams, a 50% increase in entries over 2006.

Winning entries:

1st place: RSI Silicon, Westborough, Massachusetts
2nd place: Fox2 Technologies, Hampton, New Hampshire and Bagazo, Cambridge, Massachusetts
3rd place: GreenRay of Lincoln, Massachusetts, and C3Bio Energy of Cambridge, Massachusetts

As part of the package, second place winners will receive $7500 of legal services from lawyers in Foley Hoag's Energy Technology & Renewables practice.

Fox2 Technologies is developing new sensor technology for airplane and trucking operators that improves fuel efficiency by more than 5%, improves profitability, and significantly reduces carbon emissions. Bagazo is a for-benefit organization that seeks to facilitate socially-responsible investments in developing countries by creating sustainable businesses that will distribute superior and more environmentally-friendly cooking fuels produced from agricultural waste.

Participating in the ICE competition provides young companies with the opportunity to develop business skills, obtain mentoring and coaching, and network with industry professionals, including potential investors. This year, winners will be awarded a total of $250,000 in cash and services.A The ICE Competition began in 2004 to stimulate the growing clean energy industry in New England and is sponsored by the MIT Enterprise Forum Energy Special Interest Group.
