Foley Hoag Congratulates Seth D. Jaffe for Being Ranked "Top Environmental Lawyer in Boston" by Best Lawyers

Best Lawyers, one of the oldest and most respected peer-review publications in the legal profession, has named Seth D. Jaffe of Foley Hoag LLP as the “Boston Best Lawyers Environmental Lawyer of the Year” for 2010.

Mr. Jaffe, the primary author of the Law and the Environment Blog, is also Chair of the Administrative Law Department and Coordinator of the Environmental Practice Group at Foley Hoag LLP, where he has practiced since 1987. He works on a wide range of environmental law issues, representing clients in the permitting/licensing of new facilities and offering ongoing guidance on permitting and enforcement related matters under federal and state Clean Air Acts, Clean Water Acts, RCRA, and TSCA. Mr. Jaffe also advises on wetlands and waterways regulation. His clients include electric and telecommunications utilities, companies in the printing and chemical industries, and education and health care institutions.
