Foley Hoag Represents Brammo on $28M Series B Financing, Strategic Partnership with Polaris Industries

Foley Hoag LLP represented electric motorcycle maker Brammo Inc. as it closed a $28 million Series B funding round designed to accelerate the company’s development plans.
Polaris Industries, a global manufacturer of off-road vehicles and low speed on-road vehicles, participated in the final tranche of the Series B funding and entered into a strategic partnership with Brammo. The Series B round also included contributions from existing shareholders Flextronics, Alpine Energy and Chrysalix.
Brammo, based in Ashland, Ore., has an expanding electric motorcycle product line based on its proprietary design and electric powertrain technology. The partnership with Polaris Industries will help both companies expand their product and market reach.
