Meredith A. Haviland
Meredith Haviland’s varied corporate practice focuses on working with registered investment advisers, start-up companies and investors. She advises registered investment advisers and hedge fund managers on various matters of regulatory compliance and assists with the formation of both onshore and offshore hedge funds. Meredith also represents investors in venture capital transactions, including initial and follow-on rounds. On the company side she counsels start-up companies on securing venture capital financing, as well as advising them on formation and general corporate matters.
Meredith’s practice also includes assisting clients with various international business transactions. She also provides ongoing assistance to private, public and non-profit companies on general corporate matters.
Prior to law school, Meredith worked as a Research Analyst for the Massachusetts Joint Legislative Committee on Human Services and Elderly Affairs (1998-2001).
