Shirin Philipp represents registered and unregistered investment advisers and private investment funds, assisting them with formation, registration and regulatory compliance.

As co-chair of Foley Hoag’s nonprofit practice group, Shirin has extensive experience advising nonprofit organizations. She provides them with guidance in a wide range of general operational matters, including governance, mergers and acquisitions, and maintaining tax-exempt status.

Shirin also advises early stage and emerging businesses on financing and contract matters.

Before joining Foley Hoag, Shirin served as law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts.
