Cindy Lewiton Jackson joined Foley Hoag in January 2009 as Director of Professional Development. In this role, she is responsible for creating, implementing and managing a comprehensive professional development organization for the firm’s lawyers and professional staff. Cindy oversees all professional skills development processes and programs, including training, mentoring, coaching, feedback, evaluations, leadership development and performance management, and focuses on establishing firm-wide best practices. She is a member of the firm’s Associates Review Committee and works closely with firm leadership to achieve attorney development and strategic goals.

Prior to Foley Hoag, Cindy was Global Director of Career Development and Alumni Relations at Bain & Company. During her 13-year tenure, Cindy built, launched and managed worldwide organizations that created and drove initiatives for Bain’s global alumni and consulting staff in 36 offices across 23 countries. Prior to Bain, Cindy was a career development consultant with Drake Beam Morin and the principal of her own coaching and professional development practice. She also held several positions in legal administration, including at Hale & Dorr (now WilmerHale) and Nutter McClennen & Fish (now Nutter). Prior to her career in professional development, Cindy was a clinical social worker at the Beth Israel Hospital (now Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center).
