    Foley Hoag seeks an IT Support Services Manager to oversee the daily operation of the IT Support Services area, which includes the IT Support Desk (f/k/a Help Desk and Deskside Support), A/V support, IT training, project management and user experience management. The IT Support Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that hardware and software support is provided to users, including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite, Document Management, specialty department applications, desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices (including the loaner pool of laptops), mifi’s, printer management and other specialty peripherals. The Support Services Department is responsible for maintaining the firm’s intranet, user and system IT documentation, as well as the disaster recovery plans, including testing.

    Foley Hoag seeks a Patent Docket Coordinator with a solid understanding of the United States, International and various foreign Patent Office rules, procedures and guidelines. He/she must be able to apply this information correctly when reviewing PTO submissions to ensure we are meeting the requirements set in the respective communications. The integrity of the information maintained in the system is vital to ensuring the legal staff meet critical deadlines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: creating and maintaining patent prosecution files, maintaining database, entering deadlines and other case-specific data into docketing system, interpreting documents and identifying deadlines, preparing weekly and periodic reports, and following-up on deadlines.   • Patent Quality Control Coordinator

    Foley Hoag seeks a Patent Quality Control Coordinator with a solid understanding of the filing requirements of the United States (US) and International (PCT) Patent Offices. The coordinator must be able to research, interpret and apply the patent filing rules, procedures and guidelines. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: pre-filing review of all intended US and PCT filings, confirm all documents required are included and posted to EFS-Web or e-PCT, maintain a daily log of all filings, and ensure all filings are complete and compliant. The coordinator is also responsible for identifying any filing document deficiencies, providing a brief explanation of the related rule(s) (if applicable) and ensuring that any required corrections are completed. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all deadline related US and PCT filings are completed in a timely manner and that all related filing acknowledgement receipts are secured. The coordinator may be asked to assist on project based work as necessary. The coordinator must be availability to work overtime when required to meet the demands of this position.
