Can the Democrats retake the House and hold the Senate? Hear what Democratic insiders think.
Foley Hoag's Government Strategies Practice Group invites you to an exclusive off-the-record discussion with top political strategists from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee on June 12. Join us for an off-the-record breakfast discussion with DCCC Political Director Kelly Ward and DSCC Political Director Crystal King where they will share their views on the 2012 election and answer your questions about the key races to take back the House and hold the Senate majority.
Kelly Ward serves as the DCCC’s Political Director and leads the effort on redistricting and incumbent protection for the committee. Ms. Ward was the DCCC’s Regional Political Director for Incumbent Retention last cycle. She previously managed Alan Khazei’s U.S. Senate campaign, ran former Congressman Harry Mitchell’s first congressional campaign and worked for former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano.
Prior to assuming the role of DSCC Political Director, Crystal King, served as Senator Kay Hagan’s chief of staff and campaign manager. Before Hagen’s election to the Senate during the 2008 cycle, Ms. King worked as Midwest political director for the DCCC. During the 2004 cycle, she was Political Director for Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry’s Ohio presidential campaign. A native of Dayton, Ohio, and a graduate of Ohio University, Ms. King has worked for former Rep. Tony Hall (D-OH) and former Sen. John Glenn (D-OH), as well as Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY).
