Boston Bar Association Names Foley Hoag Partners Section Co-Chairs
Jonathan Ettinger to Co-Chair Environmental Law Section, Colin Zick to Co-Chair Health Law Section
June 8, 2011
Two Foley Hoag LLP partners have been appointed section co-chairs by the Boston Bar Association, effective Sept. 1.
Partner Jonathan Ettinger was named co-chair of the BBA’s Environmental Law Section. Ettinger focuses on a wide range of environmental law and insurance recovery issues. He recently received the Buzzards Bay Guardian Award from the Buzzards Bay Coalition for helping defend the bay against oil spills such as the one in 2003.
Partner Colin Zick was named co-chair of the BBA’s Health Law Section. Zick’s practice focuses on health care and compliance issues, and often involves the intersection of those two subjects in administrative proceedings or litigation. His practice also includes work on health care transactional matters and information privacy and security. He co-founded the firm's Data Security and Privacy Practice Group and regularly contributes to its blog, www.securityprivacyandthelaw.com.
Ettinger and Zick will serve two-year terms that expire in 2012.
