Foley Hoag Partners Beth Arnold and Barbara Fiacco Named to Managing Intellectual Property Magazine’s IP Stars 2013 - Top 250 Women in IP

October 22, 2013

Managing Intellectual Property Magazine has named Beth Arnold and Barbara Fiacco in its publication, IP Stars - Top 250 Women in IP, a definitive guide to the leading female intellectual property attorneys in the United States.

Research for the Top 250 Women in IP included thousands of interviews and surveys from IP partners and law firms across the country, conducted between June 2012 and April 2013.  The Top 250 Women in IP list comprises the most distinguished female attorneys from that process.

Managing Intellectual Property commends Beth Arnold for her work in patent prosecution, patent licensing and counseling in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Arnold is a U.S. registered patent attorney with 25 years of experience. She also prepares patent opinions and performs patent due diligence in connection with public or private financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other business combinations.

The magazine praises Barbara Fiacco for her patent disputes and counseling practices in the life sciences sector, including her representation of university clients. Fiacco represents biomedical clients in complex commercial and patent litigation involving patent infringement, patent ownership disputes and contract disputes. She also prepares opinions on patent-related matters. A leader in the intellectual property community, Fiacco serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
