Foley Hoag Attorney Amy K. Lehr to Speak at Business and Human Rights Conference

Foley Hoag LLP attorney Amy Lehr will participate in Business & Human Rights: Trends, Challenges & the Road Ahead on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
Lehr will speak on a panel titled “Making the Business Case for Business and Human Rights,” where she will present a “business case” for respecting human rights through applicable examples. Joining Lehr will be Bennett Freeman of Calvert Investments, Shari Knoerzer of Freeport-McMoRan, and Tu Rinsche of Disney. Deborah Enix-Ross of the ABA Center for Human Rights will serve as panel moderator.
Lehr is a member of Foley Hoag’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practice. She counsels major multinational corporations, international financial institutions, and governments on best practices with regard to human rights, including labor, land, and indigenous rights issues, as well as on stakeholder relations.
