Foley Hoag Attorney Angelynn Meya Speaks at ICCYAF Conference

March 20, 2015

Foley Hoag attorney Angelynn Meya was a featured panelist at the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICCYAF) conference on March 19, 2015. The event, which was organized on the occasion of the ICC VIS Pre-Moot, took place at the International Chamber of Commerce Global Headquarters in Paris.

Meya’s panel, “Joinder and Non-Signatories,” focused on her recent experience as counsel in an ICC arbitration involving the joinder of third parties and on some of the questions that arose as a result. The program also featured presentations by ICC counsel, arbitrators and other arbitration experts.

The ICCYAF Conference attracted ICC VIS-Moot participants from across Europe as well as arbitration practitioners, and addressed issues of joinder of third parties, non-signatories to an arbitration agreement and preliminary and urgent measures under the 2012 ICC Rules - all topics in the 2015 VIS-Moot problem.
