Foley Hoag Partner Mélida Hodgson to Speak at ABA Section of International Law 2015 Fall Meeting

Foley Hoag LLP partner Mélida Hodgson will speak at the American Bar Association Section of International Law 2015 Fall Meeting, taking place October 20-24 at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montréal, QC, Canada. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Globalization and the Importance of Law, Language and Culture.”
Hodgson’s panel, “Evidence in International Arbitration and Implications for Confidentiality,” will focus on evidence-gathering in international arbitration and the implications for confidentiality. Joining Hodgson as panelists are Aurélie Conrad Hari of Bär & Karrer, Geneva, Switzerland; Annie Lespérance of Cabinet Yves Fortier, Montréal, QC, Canada; and Marc J. Goldstein of Marc J. Goldstein Litigation & Arbitration Chambers, New York, and moderator Mark McNeill of Shearman & Sterling, London, England.
Hodgson is a member of Foley Hoag's International Litigation and Arbitration group, and is resident in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on investor-State and commercial arbitrations, as well as counseling governments and state-owned entities with respect to international investment protection obligations, World Trade Organization dispute resolution and international trade policy issues.
