Foley Hoag Associate Alexandra Kerr Meise to Speak on ASIL Panel

Foley Hoag LLP attorney Alexandra Kerr Meise will speak on an American Society of International Law (ASIL) panel, "Getting Started in International Law: What I Wish I Had Known From the Start," on Thursday, January 14 at the Tillar House in Washington, D.C. The session will feature an interactive discussion on preparing for a career in international law.

Meise and fellow panelists will share their perspectives as experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds. Also scheduled to participate are Anneliese Fleckenstein, Counsel, International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes; Brian Israel, Attorney-Adviser, Office of the Legal Adviser, U.S. Department of State; and Sarah St. Vincent, Human Rights and Surveillance Fellow, Center for Democracy and Technology. Lisl Brunner of the Global Network Initiative will serve as moderator.

As a member of Foley Hoag’s International Litigation and Arbitration and Corporate Social Responsibility practices, Meise’s practice includes preventing and resolving international disputes. She has significant experience in international investment and human rights disputes, particularly those related to economic and natural resource development.
