Foley Hoag Announces Promotions to Counsel, International Counsel

Foley Hoag LLP has announced that associates Amy Lehr, Jenevieve Maerker and Prithvi Tanwar have been promoted to counsel and that international associate Analía González has been promoted to international counsel, all effective January 1, 2018.

These attorneys strengthen many of Foley Hoag’s notable practices, including corporate social responsibility; trademark and intellectual property; entrepreneurial services and general business counseling; and international litigation and arbitration.

  • Amy Lehr. Lehr is resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and is a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility practice, for which she provides advice to large multinational corporations, international financial institutions and governments on national and international law with regard to human rights, labor rights and indigenous rights issues, as well as on stakeholder relations.
  • Jenevieve Maerker. Maerker is resident in the firm’s Boston office and focuses on domestic and international trademark counseling, prosecution, enforcement and litigation, with an emphasis on trademark strategy for life sciences and pharmaceutical companies. She also has significant experience in copyright counseling and litigation, as well as in insurance coverage disputes.
  • Prithvi Tanwar. Tanwar is resident in the firm’s Boston office, and serves as general corporate counsel to early and growth stage technology companies.
  • Analía González. González is resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, and represents clients before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, International Chamber of Commerce and International Court of Justice, and in UNCITRAL ad hoc arbitrations. She currently serves as an arbitrator in a commercial arbitration in the Mexican energy sector, and is Vice-President of the Investment-Arbitration Committee of the ICC in Mexico.
