Foley Hoag Partner Kenneth Figueroa to Participate in FIESP International Commerce and Investment Arbitration Roundtable

Foley Hoag LLP partner Kenneth Figueroa will be a guest speaker at "International Commerce and Investment Arbitration: The International and Brazilian Experience," a roundtable event organized by the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), taking place on March 14, 2018 at FIESP’s headquarters in São Paulo, Brazil.

Figueroa will discuss bilateral investment treaties and international arbitration from the US/Global perspective. He will also debate the substance and impact of Brazil’s model Cooperation and Facilitation Investment Agreements.

Figueroa is a member of Foley Hoag’s International Litigation and Arbitration Practice. His practice focuses on international disputes, particularly on investor-State matters, commercial arbitration, and sovereign representation. Figueroa primarily represents foreign States and State-owned entities before U.S. federal courts and international arbitral tribunals, including those established under the auspices of the ICSID, ICC and ICDR.
