Foley Hoag Lawyers Recognized for Work on Behalf of New Bedford Detainees at Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards

Boston, MA - June 6, 2007

Nineteen lawyers from Foley Hoag LLP were recently honored at the Sixth Annual Pro Bono Publico Awards hosted by the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services.

During presentation of the annual awards, the Committee recognized the pro bono work of approximately seventy attorneys, who volunteered "in the finest tradition of the Massachusetts bar" to represent persons who were detained or affected by the New Bedford, Massachusetts, law enforcement action on March 6, 2007.
