Jeffrey R. Scalzi
Jeff joined Foley Hoag in June 2006 as the firm’s Director of Marketing. In this capacity he works directly with firm leadership to establish and implement marketing and business development strategies firm wide and manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department. He has responsibility for overall marketing communications and branding strategies, hiring and personnel development, resource allocation, and budgetary management.
With 14 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic, integrated marketing communications programs, Jeff came to Foley Hoag after most recently serving as Regional Marketing Manager for an AmLaw 100 firm. At that firm he managed a team of professionals responsible for all marketing, communications, public relations, business planning and key client initiatives for the firm’s New England offices. Jeff was also responsible for building and maintaining numerous firm relationships with key industry associations at the national and international levels.
Prior to Jeff’s work in professional service firms, he held diverse positions managing the marketing communications initiatives at several high technology companies, serving such industries as health care, life sciences, telecommunications, retail and financial services. He began his career with an independent New York-based publisher of legal treatises and other publications, and is pleased to have returned to legal marketing as the industry continues to evolve.
