ABA Journal Names Foley Hoag's Trademark & Copyright Law Blog to 2015 “Blawg100”
December 4, 2015
For the second consecutive year, editors of the ABA Journal announced they have selected Foley Hoag's Trademark & Copyright Law blog as one of the top 100 best blogs for a legal audience.
In the 9th annual "Blawg 100" feature, ABA Journal described the blog as containing "straight-up yet colorful coverage of copyright and trademark rulings, but authors from Foley Hoag often add the nice touch of noting similar older cases for context." The blog also covers matters related to commercial speech, defamation, domain names, false advertising and unfair competition.
The Trademark and Copyright Law blog is authored by members of the firm's Trademark, Copyright & Unfair Competition practice group, and edited by Foley Hoag partners Julia Huston and David Kluft. Popular entries during the last year have included the Oscar-Time Guide to “Best Picture” Intellectual Property Litigation, Trademark Strategies for Start-Up Companies, .PORN and .ADULT Join .XXX to Form Unsexy Threesome for Brand Owners and A Trademark Year in Wine and Beer 2015. The blog publishes new content every week and is available at trademarkandcopyrightlawblog.com.
