Foley Hoag LLP partner Martha Coakley will be a featured speaker at COMPLY2018, being held May 16 – 17 in New York City. COMPLY is an annual regtech conference that brings together regulators, investors, and legal and compliance professionals who want to ensure their efforts to reach consumers are legally compliant.
Coakely’s panel, titled "Consumer Protection and the State Attorneys General," will examine how State AGs plan to enforce federal and state consumer protection laws, despite changes at the White House and within regulatory agencies.
Coakley, a former Massachusetts Attorney General and Co-Chair of Foley Hoag’s State Attorneys General Practice, focuses her practice on government and internal investigations, data privacy and security, and innovative technology. She has worked successfully with internal teams and outside litigators to help clients navigate issues with attorneys general and staff, given her broad scope of experience as a former civil litigator, District Attorney and Massachusetts Attorney General.
