Corey Brown, partner and co-chair of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, was recently quoted in the Boston Globe article “Biotech is back, baby! A wave of life science deals is pumping cash into the sector.”
Brown highlighted the M&A activity among large biotech companies that is buoying the sector’s recent upturn, noting that many buyers are flush with cash. He pointed to Eli Lilly—which has put its GLP-1 windfall to use across a dozen acquisitions this year—as an example of the well-capitalized buyers fueling the current wave of dealmaking.
