Foley Hoag Partner Madeleine Rodriguez Named to GBCC Ten Outstanding Young Leaders List

November 18, 2022

Foley Hoag LLP partner Madeleine Rodriguez has been named to the 2022 list of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce's (GBCC) Ten Outstanding Young Leaders (TOYL). City Awake, a program of the GBCC that connects, engages, and celebrates next-generation leaders, presents the TOYL Awards annually.

For the past 70 years, the GBBC has recognized the contributions of ten current and emerging young, Greater Boston leaders who have demonstrated professional, personal, and civic commitment to improving the quality of life within the region. This year, the organization specifically honored individuals who address barriers and support equity.

At Foley Hoag, Rodriguez represents educational, healthcare, and financial services institutions in civil cases, internal and regulatory investigations, and civil rights compliance matters. She also represents foreign States, State-controlled entities, and multinational corporations in U.S. federal courts and treaty disputes before international arbitral tribunals. Rodriguez serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Education practice group.

In April 2022, the Trustees of the Foley Hoag Foundation announced the appointment of Rodriguez as the Foundation’s first Executive Director. The Foley Hoag Foundation supports programs addressing inequality in its various forms, including racial, ethnic, gender, and wealth disparities in all three of the firm’s U.S. cities including Greater Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C.

City Awake empowers the next generation of Greater Boston leaders through programming that builds community and engages young professionals in dialogue about the most pressing issues facing the region.
