Foley Hoag was named an honoree in the
Boston Business Journal’s 2022 Massachusetts Corporate Citizenship Awards for a fifth consecutive year. The firm is proud to be recognized among a number of significantly larger companies and businesses from the state that each donated $100,000 or more to Mass.-based charities in 2022. The
Foley Hoag Foundation’s community-based contributions played a substantial role in the firm’s recognition.
The Foley Hoag Foundation’s mission is to support programs addressing inequity in its various forms. This includes work that reduces racial, ethnic, gender, and wealth disparities and promotes social justice, access to societal resources, and recognition of the inherent dignity of all people. Within the past few months, it announced grants awarded to 20 organizations as part of its
2023 Spring Grant Round.
“Since its inception over 40 years ago, the Foley Hoag Foundation has been dedicated to supporting the Greater Boston community by providing grants and amplifying the work being done to make our neighborhoods spaces where all can prosper,” shared the Foley Hoag Foundation’s Executive Director and Foley Hoag partner Madeleine Rodriguez. “We are honored to be recognized once again by the Boston Business Journal and to continue working with so many incredible organizations in this city.”
The
Boston Business Journal annually publishes this list recognizing local companies that promote and prioritize giving back to their communities. This year 100 companies qualified for the distinction, reporting a combined total of $425 million in cash contributions to Massachusetts-based charities in 2022.
