Law360 has named Foley Hoag International Associate Diem Huong Ho to the Rising Stars of 2025 list, an annual list of attorneys under 40 who have attained an exceptional level of achievement. Diem was one of just five attorneys selected in the International Arbitration category.
Law360 notes that the Rising Stars list recognizes “attorneys under 40 whose legal accomplishments belie their age.” This year’s honorees were selected from over 1,100 submissions, representing over 80 law firms and 34 practice areas.
As a member of the International Litigation & Arbitration Department, Diem’s practice is focused on advising sovereign States on matters of public international law and international investment law. Most recently, she acted as the lead associate on the Foley Hoag team representing the
Republics of Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Namibia, and The Gambia in two landmark advisory proceedings before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS).
She is also a key member of the Foley Hoag team that has represented
Armenia for many years in several judicial and arbitral proceedings in relation to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, and acts as lead associate on the team representing
The Gambia before the ICJ in its case against Myanmar under the 1948 Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
