Boston Biotech Week 2026

September 22, 2026

Foley Hoag will be participating in several of the life sciences industry's premier events during Boston Biotech Week, engaging with innovators, investors, executives, and industry leaders across biotech, medtech, cell and gene therapy, RNA therapeutics, and obesity science.

Our team will be attending and speaking at the following conferences:
  • Jeff Quillen will be speaking at the LSX USA Congress on the panel, "Decoding the Biotech VC Mindset: How Investors Are Choosing Deals Now," sharing insights into the legal and business issues shaping growth, investment, and innovation across the life sciences sector. Jason Roche, Erin Foley, and Jay Reilly will also be participating in partnering meetings at the conference, connecting with emerging companies, investors, and strategic partners to discuss financing, transactions, intellectual property, and commercialization opportunities.
  • Patrick Connolly, Co-Chair of the Business Department, will be speaking on the panel, "Traditional VC and Beyond: Exploring Sources of Financing for Biotech Growth." This panel brings together representatives from non-dilutive funding, venture debt, royalty financing, corporate venture, and other innovative capital sources to discuss how biotechs can diversify their funding strategies and access capital beyond the traditional VC route.
  • Alexander Akhiezer will attend the Obesity Science & Innovation Conference, which brings together leaders across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare to explore advances in obesity therapeutics and related technologies.
  • Ariana Harris will attend the RNA Leaders Conference, a premier gathering of innovators focused on RNA-based medicines, manufacturing, regulatory developments, and next-generation therapeutic platforms.
  • David Shore will attend the Cell & Gene Therapy International Conference, joining discussions on the latest developments in cell and gene therapy research, manufacturing, commercialization, and regulatory strategy.
