Partner and Chair of the firm’s Sports & Entertainment group Alain Mathieu was featured in the
Boston Globe’s “Bold Types” column, discussing his career and decision to join Foley Hoag.
In the article, Mathieu shared that the firm’s platform provided him the opportunity to expand his practice nationally: “I needed to be back on a bigger platform. The conversation I had with them was about how do we take what I have, combine with what they have, and really make it into a standalone practice that the firm can be excited about.”
He expressed optimism that the firm’s unique environment will enable the practice to grow into an industry leader: “Even though Foley Hoag’s not a huge firm, it operates very much like most of the big firms. The platform, it’s fantastic for me.”
