Three Foley Hoag Lawyers Selected to Participate in 2025 LCLD Programs
February 05, 2025
Foley Hoag LLP has announced three of its attorneys will participate in 2025 leadership development programs and events hosted by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). Partner Arsalan Suleman will participate in the LCLD Fellows Program, and associates Amir Farhadi and Silvia Mavares will participate in the Pathfinder Program.
The Fellows program is a leadership development initiative designed for top-performing lawyers with a minimum of eight years of practice from historically underrepresented backgrounds in the legal industry. It provides Fellows with professional development and relationship-building opportunities, leadership training, and access to LCLD members.
The Pathfinder professional development program is designed to help develop, high-potential, early-career attorneys from underrepresented backgrounds on foundational leadership and relationship-building.
Suleman focuses his practice on representing sovereign States in international disputes and on global human rights matters; Farhadi’s practice focuses on public international law and international arbitration; and Mavares’ practice focuses on corporate matters including fund formation, M&A and general corporate governance.
The LCLD organization is comprised of over 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have pledged themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. Its programs help a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership.
