Foley Hoag Associate Andrew Fishman has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Legal Aid Society's New Leadership Program. The New Leadership Program brings together emerging professionals committed to supporting The Legal Aid Society's mission of providing legal representation, advocacy, and access to justice for New Yorkers in need. As a member of the Board, Fishman will help advance the organization's fundraising, outreach, and awareness initiatives.

"I'm honored to join the New Leadership Program Board and support The Legal Aid Society's critical work on behalf of New Yorkers," Fishman said. "I look forward to working with my fellow board members to help expand access to justice and strengthen support for the communities the organization serves."

In addition to his commercial work, Fishman maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing individuals in federal and state court proceedings and advising governmental and nonprofit organizations on emerging issues in federal and state law. He also serves on the New York City Bar Justice Center's Pro Bono Leadership Council, where he advocates for meaningful access to legal representation for all New Yorkers.
