Foley Hoag advised Axogen, Inc. (NASDAQ: AXGN), a global leader in developing and marketing surgical solutions for the restoration of peripheral nerve function, in its $200 million acquisition of BioCircuit Technologies, Inc., a privately held medical device company and developer of NerveTape™, the first FDA-cleared device for sutureless peripheral nerve repair.
The acquisition expands Axogen's portfolio of nerve repair technologies and adds NerveTape™, an innovative solution designed to simplify and enhance peripheral nerve repair procedures.
The Foley Hoag team was led by Mark Haddad and included Nitzan Fisher Conforti, Lee Ramati, Ariel Chen, Hannah Melville, Earl Mellott, Alex Levay, Barbara Klepper, John Harre, Janine Ladislaw, and Alison Anderson.
